Completed 2025
Wellbility School Flu Clinics
Parent e-consent, nurse check-in and dose records for school flu-vaccination clinics, reported straight to the state immunization registry over HL7.
- 150 schools mapped to registry facility codes
- HL7 VXU immunization records sent to New Hampshire's registry
- 2 years of continuous development, 2024 to 2026
The problem
Running flu-vaccination clinics across a state’s schools meant paper consent forms in backpacks, nurses retyping records, and immunization data entered into the state registry by hand, weeks later.
What we built
Wellbility, the platform that runs the whole clinic day for On-Site Medical Services.
- Parents fill in and e-sign the consent form from a secure link, on any phone
- Nurses check students in, answer the screening questions and record each dose with its lot number
- Staff training syncs from Moodle, and parents get reminders through SendGrid
- Every administered dose is built into an HL7 v2.5.1 VXU message and sent over SOAP to New Hampshire’s immunization registry (NHIIS), with every request and reply logged
- A separate migration tool backfilled earlier seasons into the registry in bulk
- Reports, printable records and CSV and PDF exports for districts and schools
Result
